Sales on the rise

20 May 2011

Huntington Rise, a sprawling new residential estate in the Gold Coast hinterland, has sold 25 per cent of stage one off the plan to generate about $2.5 million in initial sales.

The first release in the Maudsland project comprises 40 spacious blocks ranging from 700 to 1320 square metres, with prices from $233,000.

Dennis Project Management director, Grant Dennis, attributed the strong interest to a winning combination of location and lifestyle.

“We knew we had something special out here and early sales would indicate that people are looking for alternatives out of the city, but close enough to still reap the benefits of modern Gold Coast living,” he said.

“The estate is ideally located close to major shopping centres (Westfield Helensvale, Pacific Pines Town Centre), schools, sports fields, medical centres and golf courses. It’s also just a short drive to the marinas of Coomera and ocean access for boaties – and Brisbane is less than an hour away.

“We have reached the end of construction for stage one which means that buyers can now purchase their block of land and start building straight away, attractive options for both investors and owner occupiers alike.”

The demand for larger lots has many home buyers seeking options in the vast hinterland backdrops, where a quality lifestyle is able to be secured.

According to Mr Dennis, the level of enquiry at Huntington Rise has remained steady, with an influx of interest as construction continues to reach major milestones.

“We are pleased with the progress for the first release, having experienced buyer demand from various markets including purchasers upgrading from smaller lots in surrounding residential developments,” he explained.

The first stage of Huntington Rise includes an expansive 3.6 ha (36,000 sq m) of open spaces, family-friendly parks, a picturesque lake and conservation corridors.

The subdivision is surrounded by protected natural bushland, matured trees and an abundance of native flora and fauna.

“With construction now reaching completion for stage one, new residents at Huntington Rise can enjoy picturesque parklands and lily ponds, with easy access via an entrance roundabout due to be complete in the coming weeks,” Mr Dennis revealed.

The accessibility of Huntington Rise’s prime location remains one of its key attractions to new home buyers. Travelling time to Brisbane and its international airport is 45 minutes and the rejuvenated Surfers Paradise is only 25 minutes drive.
