New Shepparton display centre captures everyone’s imagination

17 July 2020

Inclement weather couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm of visitors to the new Dennis Family Homes display centre at the Seven Creeks estate in Shepparton, which opened on the weekend of July 11.

“With a large number of visitors over the weekend, we were very pleased with how the opening went,” said Dennis Family Homes Northern Regional Manager, Jason Watts.

“The additional logistics regarding COVID-19 restrictions were managed smoothly, with security helping to handle the social distancing protocols and visitor registration process.”

The opening of the three Inspirations Series homes on display – the Sandford 343 Hamptons, Heathcote 313 Savannah and Olinda 263 Verve – had been eagerly anticipated by interested new home buyers in the Shepparton region, due to its high visibility to traffic on the Goulburn Valley Highway and the eye-catching Hamptons façade on the Sandford 343.

“People loved all three homes,” noted Sales Consultant, Jackie Taplin. “But we also had a lot of people travelling from other regional areas just to see the Hamptons façade.”

The Hamptons façade is one of two firsts for the Shepparton display.

“It is the first time the new Sandford design has been built anywhere and it is the first home to feature our new Hamptons façade,” explained National Design Manager, Kelvyn Rowley.

“The Sandford 343 is particularly well suited to the larger block widths enjoyed in regional areas,” he continued. “But the display centre showcases homes to suit all different buyers.”

“The Heathcote 313 features a stunning master suite and living area at the rear of the home, ideal for capitalizing on properties with captivating rear views. While the impressive vaulted ceiling in the Olinda 263 demonstrates that first home buyers and downsizers do not need to compromise on the ‘wow’ factor.”

And ‘wow’ factor was a term frequently used to describe the beautiful interiors of the new display homes, each distinctively different and artfully designed by Gail Connor, Senior Interior Designer with Dennis Family Homes.

“As well as tapping into the latest trends, the primary objective of our interiors is to showcase key design features within each home,” Gail Connor shared.

Adopting the light, fresh Shoreline theme, natural timbers, organic textures and earthy tones provide a welcoming feel to the Olinda 263. Internal shutters highlight the flexibility of the floorplan, while hall cabinets that cleverly wrap around from the kitchen demonstrate additional storage with open shelves for feature styling.

By contrast, the darker tones of the Urban Loft theme emphasize the sophistication of  the Heathcote 313 while still maintaining a family friendly environment. Warm timber paneling to the entry and meals area is echoed in cabinetry and feature tiles in the bathroom and ensuite, combining with navy and copper accents to dramatic effect. Copper sinks in the kitchen and pantry are a standout.

The elegance of the Hamptons façade on the Sandford 343  continues inside the home courtesy of the comfortable, relaxed style of the Classique theme which sits so well in the Australian landscape. The fresh whites of the cabinetry against the warmth of the walls and floor are simply stunning. A magnificent double-sided fireplace tops off a home that effortlessly manages to welcome and impress.

Dennis Family Homes will continue operating its existing Shepparton display centre, which has been open at the Kialla Lakes estate for the past two years, until September. Featuring the Charlton 373, Hartley 333 and Hastings 273, it means that, for a limited time, Shepparton home buyers can enjoy the opportunity to view six popular Dennis Family Homes designs without having to travel further afield.

“With up to $45,000 currently available to eligible buyers through HomeBuilder and other grants, there has never been a better time to build your dream home,” Jackie Taplin concluded. “And the Shepparton displays of Dennis Family Homes can now show you exactly what that dream could look like.”
