Manor Lakes Community Fund grants awarded

Financial grants through the 2013 Manor Lakes Community Fund have been awarded to eleven eligible not-for-profit groups in the Wyndham area by estate project manager the Dennis Family Corporation.

This year’s grant certificates were presented at a free community outdoor breakfast event held at Manor Lakes on Saturday, 28 September as part of a celebration of the festivities of AFL Grand Final Day.

A total of $8,500 allocated from the Manor Lakes Community Fund this year, with an independent judging panel assessing and determining grants of either $500 or $1,000 to approved applicants. Since its establishment in 2003, the annual initiative has distributed more than $200,000 to local groups to assist a wide range of very worthy projects, activities and programs.

“Our Community Fund at Manor Lakes continues to act as a beneficial channel for providing ongoing support to deserving groups in the Wyndham area," said Dennis Family Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Peter Levinge.

“This was the first time we have combined our Community Fund presentations with a breakfast event for local residents on AFL Grand Final morning,” he noted.
