Giving back through Modeina Community Fund

Thirteen not-for-profit groups working across Melton have received more than $15000 in Modeina Community Fund grants at a recent presentation.

Dennis Family Group Director, Grant Dennis hosted the event and spoke to recipients about the importance of the Community Fund program.

“Community Funds were introduced as a practical way of giving back to the communities we create. We recognise the vital role not-for-profit groups play in connecting people and fostering a sense of belonging within our estates.”

Westside Strikers Football Club Group received funds of $1500, which will go towards new equipment for their grassroots summer program.

Under 12 Girls team coach, Simon Camilleri, accepted the grant on behalf of the club and spoke of the Strikers strong commitment to youth in the Melton area, particularly the development of girls’ involvement in soccer.
