Manor Lakes

A master planned community located 40 minutes west of Melbourne, Manor Lakes is the Dennis Family Corporation’s largest ever residential development project.

Currently home to approximately 9,000 residents, Manor Lakes will cover approximately 750 hectares in area and house a population of more than 26,000 people when fully developed.

The Victorian State Government's approval of the Manor Lakes Precinct Structure Plan in June 2012 allows for the development of the entire western balance of the housing estate over the next 20 years.

In 2006, Manor Lakes was recognised with Housing Industry Association (HIA) GreenSmart accreditation, an industry initiative bestowed on developments that have achieved minimal environmental impact, maximum energy efficiency and superior urban design. When complete, approximately 55 hectares of the developed area at Manor Lakes will comprise green space.

In April 2016, Manor Lakes was given official status and recognition as a suburb in its own right, having formerly been classified as a residential housing estate within the suburb of Wyndham Vale.

Facilities established at Manor Lakes include Manor Lakes Central shopping centre, Manor Lakes College, Our Lady of the Southern Cross Catholic Primary School and the Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre which accommodates a library, kindergarten and maternal and child health consulting rooms.

Wyndham Vale Railway Station was constructed within Manor Lakes estate as part of the Regional Rail Link project. Train services commenced operating on the new line in June 2015.
