Contract Administrator

Full time position

We currently have an opportunity for a full time Contract Administrator to join our team of Contract and Building Administrators. This role will be based in our modern Notting Hill office with onsite parking.

The successful applicant will be responsible for administration services to internal and external stakeholders, including customers, Sales Consultants, suppliers and Production team members.
Some of our customers may prefer to communicate in Mandarin. Thus, proficiency in explaining processes from deposit to site-start in Mandarin would be highly regarded.

On a day-to-day basis the successful applicant will be proactive in managing their own timeframes, workflow, quality of delivery and the escalation and follow up of tasks and individuals.

About the successful candidate

To be considered for this role, Applicants must have:
•    At least three years’ administration experience preferably in a building or related industry;
•    Strong computer skills, both accurate and timely data entry;
•    Extensive experience in customer service and excellent communication skills;
•    Fluency in Mandarin would be highly regarded;
•    The ability to work with limited supervision and show initiative; and
•    Highly developed organisational skills, multi-tasking skills and problem solving ability.

About the role

Dennis Family Homes is seeking a highly motivated estimating (sales estimating or production estimating) professional to join their team in Shepparton.  This full time position is responsible for providing accurate, timely and precise sales documentation to allow for the expeditious delivery of contracts and purchase orders for our construction teams.

About the successful candidate

Applicants will preferably have building trade experience or significant estimating experience of residential construction in a volume housing environment.  Technical skills in this field, together with strong numeracy, language and computer skills are desired.

Production Draftsperson

About the role

The Production Draftsperson will join our Metro Head Office team. Reporting to the Drafting Team Leader, the Production Draftsperson will be responsible for:
•    Producing accurate and precise sets of working drawings;
•    Producing drawings at various stages of the process, including variations;
•    Providing feedback and mark-ups to your peers on their drawings;
•    Producing or amending construction details;
•    Ordering Energy ratings and certificates; and
•    Ordering and checking structural engineering.

About the successful candidate

The successful Production Draftsperson will demonstrate technical competence in all facets of production drafting. Specifically, you will possess:
•    Recent ArchiCAD drafting experience;
•    2-3 years of residential construction experience;
•    Associate Diploma in Architectural Drafting (or equivalent);
•    Solid understanding and knowledge of Rescode;
•    Knowledge of building regulations NCC/BCA/AS;
•    Demonstrated ability to meet targets and deadlines;
•    Strong team work skills;
•    Sound communication skills both written and verbal; and
•    Strong numeracy and computer skills.
