Dennis Family Homes launches 2012 Series

Leading builder Dennis Family Homes has broadened its product range with the release of its exciting new 2012 Series.

“The launch of our 2012 Series has created additional choice for new home buyers,” said Dennis Family Homes General Manager, Richard Uden.

“We have specifically tailored the products in response to consumer feedback to reflect current market expectations and trends.”

The 2012 Series is offered separately to the two existing Dennis Family Homes product ranges – the Generations Series and Aspirations Series.

Accompanying the launch, special introductory pricing on all 2012 Series homes will be available for a limited time.

The initial 2012 Series release comprises 19 new floorplans, encompassing all size variations of the Balmoral, Brookdale, Hartley, Hastings, Macedon and Waterford designs.

The Balmoral 402 is a double storey design with four upstairs bedrooms and multiple living areas throughout. At 40 squares, it is the ultimate entertainer and offers a grand, resort lifestyle, yet is sleek enough to be constructed on blocks from a minimum of just 14 metres.

Another major asset of the Balmoral floorplan is that it has the ready-made option to add a fifth bedroom/guest suite with ensuite and walk-in-robe downstairs.

The single storey Macedon is suitable for blocks from a minimum of 16 metres and is available in four size variations of 26, 29, 32 and 34 squares.  All size variations of the Macedon design offer four bedrooms, with ensuite to master, and feature a side living floorplan which includes a games room connecting from an open family living and meals zone.

Facade options have been expanded for the 2012 Series, with as many as eight choices available for the Macedon and Hartley designs. Amongst these is the newly introduced Verve facade, which offers another contemporary styling option for buyers.

According to Mr Uden, the 2012 Series has been expertly designed with the desires of today’s new home buyers at the forefront of consideration in its planning.

“Amongst many incorporated features within 2012 Series homes are increased storage options and larger pantries. All ensuites now feature double vanities and larger showers for both improved practicality and enhanced luxury.

“By reconfiguring the floorplans where necessary, we have been able to successfully design the homes to include these desired features within the parameters of the current trend for narrower and shorter blocks,” he explained.

Mr Uden said buyers can look forward to ongoing enhancements to the Dennis Family Homes product range.

“It is our intention to continue to modify our existing Generations Series and Aspirations Series designs, along with introducing further brand new designs on a quarterly basis,” he added.

More information on the 2012 Series can be obtained from all Dennis Family Homes display centres, online at www.dennisfamily.com.au or by phoning 1800 DENNIS.

Marsden and Brookdale making their mark at Insignia

Visitors to the new Dennis Family Homes Ballarat display centre at the Insignia Estate in Alfredton are certain to be impressed by the Marsden 281 Boulevard and Brookdale 211 Savannah.

The elegant two storey Marsden 281 accommodates four bedrooms and features two bathrooms and double garage, whilst the stylish and practical Brookdale 211 is a three bedroom home also with two bathrooms and double garage.

Both designs form part of the leading builder’s Generations Series and according to Dennis Family Homes Ballarat Area Manager, Peter Martin, have been purposefully selected to appeal to all buyer profiles.

“At 21 squares, the Brookdale is ideally suited to suit downsizers or smaller families, whereas the spacious Marsden measures 28 squares and is perfect for today’s growing families,” Mr Martin comments.

“Either way, with these two luxuriously appointed homes we have all options covered for local buyers.”

Mr Martin also notes that the inclusion of the double storey Marsden has created a first for the Dennis Family Homes Ballarat Regional Office.

“This is the first time we have showcased one of our two storey designs in Ballarat and so provides a great opportunity for prospective buyers in the area to compare two very distinctly different display homes.”

Mr Martin adds that the designs complement the dynamics of the Insignia Estate.

“Both homes are particularly suitable for the subdivision. The Marsden can be constructed on blocks from just 12.5 metres in width, whilst the Brookdale has a minimum lot width requirement of 14 metres,” he explains.

As part of the Generations Series, both homes feature a long list of luxury inclusions as standard. Both displays also highlight some of the many optional extras available to buyers to complement and personalise the homes to suit their individual needs and tastes.

Amongst the most notable optional extras featured with the Marsden display is the balcony at the side of the home accessed from the upstairs living area. At ground level, an alfresco area has been added to the rear of the home accessed via a bi-parting sliding door from the meals area.

Also showcased within the home is floating timber flooring, gloss kitchen cabinetry and an upgraded timber staircase utilising Tasmanian Oak. External optional extras displayed include a Colorbond roof.

Families will also recognise the instant appeal of the Brookdale 211, which comfortably incorporates all the essential features of modern living into an astute floorplan.

Optional extras featured in the display version include the addition of an alfresco area with timber decking at the side of the home. A pergola extends from the alfresco and paving continues around to the rear of the home. This outdoor entertaining zone can be accessed from either the family area or meals area.

Both new display homes are open for viewing daily from 1pm to 5pm. The Marsden 281 Boulevard is located at Lot 53 Sturt Street, Alfredton, which backs on to the Brookdale 211 Savannah situated at Lot 50 Aspect Parade, Alfredton.

The displays can be contacted by phone on 5336 8880 or 5336 8882. Further information is available from the Ballarat Office of Dennis Family Homes at Shop 1, 39 Peel Street North, Ballarat, phone 5336 8800 or online at www.dennisfamily.com.au.

New Dennis Family Homes displays open across Melbourne

Dennis Family Homes has opened five new display homes at three centres across the Melbourne metropolitan area, from Pakenham in the south-east, to Wollert in the north and Truganina in the west.

All of the new homes on display are designs from the popular Generations Series and feature four double bedrooms, two bathrooms and double garage, in addition to a long list of luxury inclusions as standard.

Each of the displays also highlight some of the many optional extras available to buyers to complement and personalise the homes to suit their individual needs and tastes.

Featured at the Worthington Estate in Pakenham are the Elmhurst 251 and Cosgrove 321.

The Elmhurst 251 at Pakenham showcases the Resort facade and amongst the optional extras featured in the display version is an alfresco area at the rear of the home, with access from the family room and master bedroom. This addition underlines the Elmhurst’s smart design that provides flexible lifestyle options in abundance.

Measuring 25 squares, the Elmhurst 251 is suitable for construction on blocks from a minimum width of 14 metres and the design is also available in a smaller three-bedroom version (23 squares) and larger 28 squares variation, which includes the addition of a games room.

Alongside the Elmhurst at the Dennis Family Homes Pakenham Display Centre is the Cosgrove 321 with the Savannah facade on show.  Measuring 32 squares, the Cosgrove 321 is suitable for construction on blocks from a minimum width of 16 metres.

Also available in 26, 29 and 35 square versions, the Cosgrove design is renowned for its roominess and added standard features including walk-in-robes in all four bedrooms. One of the children’s bedrooms also has access to a two-way bathroom and powder room, which enhances its appeal for older teenage children or as a guest room.

Optional extras featured in the Cosgrove at Pakenham include a bi-fold door to the alfresco area, timber laminate floor through much of the home and special fit outs to the kitchen pantry and walk-in-robe in the master bedroom.

The new Dennis Family Homes Display Centre at the Wyndella Estate in Truganina also features the Cosgrove 321, in company with the Beaufort 271.

At the Truganina display, the Cosgrove 321 highlights the Boulevard facade and is shown with optional extras including a bi-fold door to the alfresco area and timber flooring. One notable difference with the Cosgrove at Truganina is that the positioning of the study and master bedroom has been swapped. This floorplan option brings the study within view of the open family/meals and kitchen area for closer parental supervision.

Dennis Family Homes is displaying the Beaufort 271 for the first time at Truganina.

At just under 27 squares, this is the largest of the three variations of the Beaufort design, which provides separate living areas at either end of the home for privacy and relaxation. The 271 version includes an alfresco area to add to the home’s considerable entertaining capabilities. As with the Cosgrove, the Beaufort is suitable for blocks from a minimum width of 16 metres.

Optional extras showcased in the Beaufort at Truganina include a corner sliding entertainer door to open up the alfresco area. Externally, the display home also features a Colorbond roof and features the Resort facade.

Standing proudly at the Lyndarum North Estate at Wollert is the elegant two-storey Marsden 341, also shown with the Resort facade. This striking and spacious home measures almost 34 squares yet is capable of being constructed on blocks from just 12.5 metres in width.

The Marsden features two separate living areas at ground level, along with a study and rear games room for the kids to make their play centre. Walk-in-robes are included as standard in all four bedrooms, which are located upstairs with a further living area or private retreat.

Amongst the optional extras featured in the Marsden 341 display at Wollert, the alfresco area has been extended and a paved pergola added along the side of the home.

All of the new displays are open weekdays 1-5pm and weekends 12-5pm. The Elmhurst 251 Resort and Cosgrove 321 Savannah are on display at the Worthington Estate at Villella Drive, Pakenham (Melway Ref: 215 F3). Visitors can view the Beaufort 271 Resort and Cosgrove 321 Boulevard at the Wyndella Estate at Ronald Road, Truganina (Melway Ref: 203 D7), whilst the Marsden 341 Resort display is located at the Lyndarum North Estate at Subiaco Road, Wollert (Melway Ref: 182 A3).

Dennis Family Homes counting down the clock with 99 homes from $99,000

Special discounts introduced by Dennis Family Homes across its Aspiration Series have made 99 a number of great significance in its current sale which commenced on 8 October.

For a limited time, the award-winning builder is offering 99 homes from an incredible starting price of just $99,000 in its “No Need to Shop Around” sale.

“The substantial discounts we are presently making available on all homes in our Aspirations Series will be offered until we reach a limit of 99 sales,” says Dennis Family Homes General Manager, Richard Uden.

“This sale represents amazing value for buyers and has turned back the clock, with prices below $100,000 able to be achieved,” he adds.

The $99,000 starting price is applicable to the Cambridge 151 design in all Victorian areas when the discount is applied in conjunction with the current Federal First Home Owner Grant and State First Home Bonus.

“The sale is not restricted to first home buyers, although they gain the maximum savings through eligibility for the relevant grants applicable in their areas,” Mr Uden notes.

“But it is important to emphasise that the specially discounted prices available to all buyers are being offered for a limited time on a limited number of homes and the countdown from 99 to zero is already under way, with the first sales having begun immediately.”

The Aspirations Series offers considerable variety for buyers, with 11 different high quality designs to choose from. Designs vary from three to four bedrooms ranging from 15 to 27 squares in size. Amongst the selections are single and double storey and ranch style homes, ensuring all buyers will find their new dream home at a heavily discounted price.

Mr Uden says this sale holds the key to the door for all prospective buyers.

“For the many people who have been holding off from being active in the market, there is no longer any reason to delay as this sale provides the necessary incentive to move now. Would-be buyers who have been unable to get a foot in the door, can now step right inside their own new home.”

As Mr Uden explains, the price points have been designed to eliminate any need for buyers to shop around for comparisons.

“Buyers will instantly recognise that the current Dennis Family Homes offer is the best available anywhere in the market.”

Charity home delivers a boost for Ballan Hospital

The Dennis family’s affinity with the Ballan area has led to a substantial donation to its local hospital.

Dennis Family Homes selected the Ballan Hospital to be the beneficiary of the proceeds of its latest charity home built at Delacombe in Ballarat’s western growth corridor.

The design chosen by Dennis Family Homes for the project was the three-bedroom Columbia 211 Tempo from its Aspirations Series. Advertised for sale through the Ballarat office of The Professionals real estate firm, the house was sold just prior to the completion of construction in July.

Following the recent settlement of the purchase, Dennis Family Homes has donated its full profit on the sale, which amounted to $26,164.00.

The proceeds were presented to Ballan District Health & Care CEO, Glenn Rowbotham on September 26 by Dennis Family Homes CEO, Peter Levinge and his wife Adele, who is the CEO of the Dennis Family Office and the eldest daughter of company founder, Bert Dennis. Also in attendance for the cheque presentation were Ballan District Health & Care Board President, James Hay and Dennis Family Homes Area Manager – Ballarat, Peter Martin.

Mr Rowbotham said the funds would be allocated towards the $3m redevelopment of the hospital, which is scheduled to commence in early 2012.

“Given that we still have a shortfall in reaching our target funding figure, this generous donation from Dennis Family Homes becomes even more significant,” he commented.

“As a not-for-profit community-owned hospital, we do not receive automatic Government funding and rely on a network of support from local businesses, the community and philanthropic trusts to continue improving the quality of health services and facilities we provide.”

Built in 1966, the Ballan Hospital is now nearly fifty years old and currently services a population of over 20,000 residents from the outskirts of Bacchus Marsh to Ballarat. The new hospital facilities will include a palliative care unit, additional acute beds, two publicly-funded beds, a new Emergency Stabilisation Department and Ballan’s first x-ray facility.

Adele Levinge said the Dennis family had a long-held attachment to the Ballan area and was delighted to support the hospital fundraising effort through the charity home project.

“Our family owned a farm in Ballan for more than twenty years from the mid 1970s,” she explained.

“The property was in Monteville Lane on the southern hillside of Pykes Creek Reservoir and my parents have maintained close ties with several long-standing friends in the region, particularly Alyne and Claire Fagg.”

Peter Levinge said that Dennis Family Homes has a strong connection with regional Victoria and that its charity home initiatives are an important part of its business philosophy.

“Our company builds throughout the state and is regularly active in the Ballan area, including a number of homes under construction at present.  Over many years, we have scheduled charity home projects in various locations as a unique and effective way of giving back to the local communities in which we operate.”

Deloraine and Windsor treat families like royalty

Dennis Family Homes has continued to add to its expanding product range with the release of the Deloraine 301 and Windsor 281.

Both new homes have been designed with the quality and excellence associated with the award-winning family builder.

“The Deloraine is tailored to suit our Generations Series, whilst the Windsor promises to be a very popular new addition to our Aspirations Series,” Dennis Family Homes General Manager, Richard Uden says.

“Both homes have included features which capture the essence of modern family living, with enough entertaining and accommodation space to suit all lifestyles,” he adds.

Although the floorplans of both homes closely resemble each other, they are differently appointed and sized, with the Deloraine being larger at 29.88 squares than the Windsor’s 27.73 squares of total area.

Buyers who choose either design will enjoy a stylish new home featuring four bedrooms, two bathrooms and double garage. The floorplans include two large living areas, one at the front of the home for privacy and relaxation, with a separate family space forming part of an open kitchen and meals area with adjoining study and games room.

Just a few sleepy steps away from the front living room is the sanctuary of the master bedroom, which features an ensuite and walk-in-robe.

“Everything has been carefully considered, including ensuring the value for money offered by these homes typifies our commitment to low and honest prices,” Mr Uden continues.

The Deloraine is priced from $201,900 and the Windsor starts at just $176,400, which is certain to attract the attention of buyers on the lookout for a luxurious home within a realistic budget.

“The starting prices represent genuine value for family homes of such size and quality,” Mr Uden states. “The affordability of the Windsor, in particular, gives buyers more spending power,” he adds.

The Deloraine is available in a choice of six contemporary facades, whilst there are four facade selections for the Windsor. Both homes are suitable for construction on blocks of a minimum width of 16 metres.

With the release of the Deloraine and the Windsor, Dennis Family Homes has now introduced 17 new designs across its entire product range in 2011 alone, adding further choice for all buyers.

The Windsor 281 will be opening at the Dennis Family Homes display centre in Shepparton in late 2011 and the Deloraine 301 is scheduled for display at Epping in early 2012.

More information on both homes can be obtained online at www.dennisfamily.com.au or by phoning 1800 DENNIS.

Lucky start to a new dream home for winning couple

Neither Varinder Singh nor his wife Gagandeep Kaur had ever thought of themselves as lucky with competitions.

That all changed on 8th July when the Thomastown couple were named as the winners of a special prize draw from Dennis Family Homes providing $30,000 worth of home furnishings from the Guest group.

“We have never won anything before, so it is very exciting,” Mr Singh said.

His wife was equally surprised when told of their windfall, which Dennis Family Homes promoted as the ultimate house warming present.

“It is something we never expected at all,” Mrs Singh declared.

Mr and Mrs Singh were entered into the prize draw, along with all other new customers who made a deposit during the period between 26th May and 30th June.

Dennis Family Homes Sales Consultant, Cheryl Jennings, recalled the moment Mrs Singh was filling out the entry form at the Lalor display centre.

“I said it would be fantastic if they should happen to win, but Mrs Singh said that she was never lucky.”

The Singhs had just placed a deposit on an Oxford 231 from to be built on land at the nearby Aurora Estate in Epping North, which Cheryl also helped the couple to locate. Construction on the new four bedroom home will commence later this year and is expected to be completed by March 2012.

Mr Singh said that the customer service received from Dennis Family Homes had been a major factor in their decision making when planning their purchase together as first time home buyers.

“We looked at other builders, but Cheryl was very good to deal with. She explained everything and even helped find the right block to best suit the home design we had chosen.”

The Oxford 231 is part of the Aspirations Series from Dennis Family Homes and is suitable for allotments from a minimum of 12.5 metres in width. As part of her customer service, Cheryl recommended that the couple change the block they were intending to purchase at the Aurora Estate to one on the other side of the street for better orientation.

After four years of marriage and having rented their present house in Thomastown for the past year, Mr and Mrs Singh are looking forward to seeing their own dream home come to life in the coming months.

“The Oxford design suits our land and fitted into our budget. We wanted four bedrooms and liked having two separate living areas, with the family room, kitchen and meals area being very open,” Mr Singh commented.

Mrs Singh said they had informed family and friends in India of their prize win.

“They are all excited for us and we’ve been sending plans and designs of the home via the internet.”

Mr and Mrs Singh now have time to think about what furniture and furnishings they might need for their new home. Part of their prize includes a full day consultation with an interior designer at the Guest Furniture showroom in Mount Waverley to assist with styles and colours to complement the home.

“We have never had to do anything like this before, so the interior design consultation will be very helpful,” Mr Singh noted.

“We were going to use much of what we already have, but now with $30,000 to spend, we can now think about what sort of new furniture we might really like to have,” he added.

Once the couple complete their shopping spree, Dennis Family Homes will arrange free delivery of the selected items.

Although delighted with their win, Mrs Singh has a simple wish once she and her husband are settled into their new home next year.

“To live happily is all we want.”

New Dennis Family Homes displays at Melton

The doors have opened on new display homes at the Arnolds Creek Estate at Melton showcasing two fine examples of contemporary living from Dennis Family Homes.

Prospective home buyers can view the Cosgrove 291 Boulevard and Waterford 241 Savannah from this leading builder’s Generations Series range. Both designs feature four double bedrooms, including main with ensuite and walk-in robes, dual living areas, double garage and are available in a choice of six contemporary facades.

Although sharing those similarities, the Cosgrove and Waterford are very distinctive designs with their own individual attributes.

“Togetherness is the hallmark of the Cosgrove,” Dennis Family Homes Area Manager – Metro West, Brian Hooper comments. “One of the most distinctive characteristics of the Cosgrove design is its rear living focus, with the kitchen, meals area, open family area and separate living room all combining to form a single zone at the rear of the home, leading out to the alfresco area.”

Mr Hooper says that this concentration of the living quarters makes the Cosgrove ideal for entertaining, yet equally handy for parental supervision of young children.

“The living/media room has double doors which can be closed for privacy or to act as a noise barrier whenever desired,” he explains.

The Cosgrove’s four double-sized bedrooms are located in the front half of the home, with the generously sized master also featuring an ensuite and walk-in robe. In a separate zone across the hallway are the remaining three bedrooms, all of which also include walk-in robes.

“One of the bedrooms has access to a two-way bathroom and powder room, which enhances its appeal for older teenage children or as a guest room,” Mr Hooper notes.

The Cosgrove is a spacious home of almost 29 squares and is suitable for blocks from a minimum of 16 metres in width.

Visitors to the Melton displays will also be impressed by the Waterford 241. Measuring almost 24 squares, the Waterford is suitable to be built on blocks from just 12.5 metres in width and has been cleverly designed to maximise the efficiency of its floor plan and deliver outstanding value for money.

Mr Hooper explains that the main feature of the Waterford’s design is that the back half of the home beyond the garage and master bedroom can be easily mirrored or “flipped” in order to orientate all the living spaces to face the direction best suited to the block on which it is to be constructed.

The Waterford’s all-round flexibility can also be a major advantage if needing to find a suitable home for a corner block, or irregular shaped allotment.

“When it comes to versatility of design and genuine affordability, few homes can match the Waterford, which has everything the modern family needs,” Mr Hooper says. “It also has four double-sized bedrooms, including master with ensuite and walk-in robe, as well as two separate living areas.”

The first living area offers privacy and separation from the second family area, which is positioned with the kitchen and meals area at the rear of the home.

As part of the Generations Series from Dennis Family Homes, both the Cosgrove and Waterford carry a six-star energy rating which ensures more efficient and cost effective heating, lighting and cooling.

The homes are built with an array of internal and external features as standard inclusions, amongst which are gas ducted heating and ceiling insulation.  Other standard features in both designs include stainless steel appliances, glass splashback and stone benchtops in the kitchen. Stone benchtops also feature in the ensuite, bathroom and powder room, along with designer vanity basins.

External features include the latest in front entry door and sectional automatic garage door designs.

Mr Hooper also alerts buyers to a special bonus offer which Dennis Family Homes is currently applying to all designs in its Generations Series as part of its commitment to keeping prices low and honest.

“This exclusive offer of free carpets and tiles throughout the home is available for a limited time only and represents a significant extra saving for customers,” he says.

A range of other optional extras are available at additional cost to complement and personalise both homes.

The display version of the Cosgrove at Melton showcases several of these available options including a Colorbond roof and higher ceiling height throughout the home. Another outstanding feature is an extension to the alfresco area, with dual access via aluminium framed double glazed bi-fold doors from both the meals area and living room.

Gloss lustreboard cabinetry is a stunning inclusion in the display home kitchen, bathroom, powder room and ensuite. The walk-in kitchen pantry has also been stylishly fitted out with lustreboard cabinetry, along with shelving, glass splashback and stone benchtop.

The Waterford display version at Melton has been constructed close to standard, however does highlight some optional extras. The most notable of these are the use of timber laminate flooring throughout much of the home and the addition of a spacious alfresco area along the side of the house.

This covered outdoor entertaining space is accessed through a sliding door from the meals area. A further sliding door has been added from the first living area in the display version leading to a paved outdoor space adjacent to the alfresco area.

The Cosgrove 291 Boulevard and Waterford 241 Savannah are on display at the Arnolds Creek Estate at Lot 457-458 Bulmans Road, Melton (Melway Ref: 336 E5). Displays are open weekdays 1-5pm and weekends 12-5pm.

Two great value bonus offers from Dennis Family Homes

There has never been a better time to build with Dennis Family Homes than right now.

The award-winning builder currently has separate great value bonus offers applicable on all new homes within both its Aspirations and Generations Series ranges, which add to the attraction for prospective home owners and astute investors alike.

In addition to a really low price, buyers of any home within the Aspirations Series until the end of June will receive 50% off their choice of luxury upgrades up to the value of $20,000.

“Many of the buyers in our Aspirations Series range are entering the housing market for the first time. This special bonus helps customers add their own personal touch and tastes to their new home,” says Dennis Family Homes General Manager, Richard Uden.

Meanwhile, Dennis Family Homes is continuing its special offer of free carpets and tiles for all designs within its popular Generations Series for a limited time only.

“Over recent months our existing offer of free carpets and tiles on all our homes has been very positively received by customers. So much so that we’ve decided to extend the bonus incentive, but it is now applicable solely to homes in the Generations Series during this continuing period,” Mr Uden explains.

“Our Generations Series features a wide range of functional designs which tend to suit the requirements of second and subsequent home buyers,” he adds.

Mr Uden says the Dennis Family Homes bonus offers have been tailored with transparency, simplicity and value in mind.

“In a market which can often be crowded with deals on extras which are either confusing or don’t live up to the initial expectations, we have designed our current offers to be easily understandable and at the same time represent great value for buyers,” he states.

“Choose a home in our Aspirations Series and get 50% off upgrades to the value of $20,000 during May and June, or opt for a home in our Generations Series and receive free carpets and tiles. Either way, our customers enjoy the direct benefits.”

Two-storey family duo stands tall at Point Cook

Leading builder Dennis Family Homes is showcasing two spacious and eye-catching two-storey designs at the new Point Cook display centre.

Standing proudly side by side are the Riverton 371 Boulevard and Marsden 341 Resort, both of which are firm family favourites and huge on entertaining.

“This is the first time we have strategically positioned a pair of two-storey designs together on display,” Dennis Family Homes General Manager, Richard Uden reveals.

Both the Riverton and Marsden feature four inviting double bedrooms and a private retreat or living area upstairs. For both designs, the upstairs master bedroom features an ensuite with his and hers sink so couples never have to fight for space. A walk-in robe also provides ready space for storing all garments and essentials.

Also common to their respective floorplans are two separate living areas at ground level, along with a secluded study for privacy and a rear games room for the kids to make their play centre. Adding to the widespread attraction of both homes is a fully covered alfresco area for year round outdoor entertainment.

According to Mr Uden, another key attraction of these particular designs is their suitability and functionality within a wide variety of block sizes.

“The Marsden can occupy lots with a minimum width of just 12.5 metres, whilst the Riverton is able to be constructed on lots starting from 14 metres wide,” he explains.

As part of the popular Generations Series offered by Dennis Family Homes, both designs carry a 6 star energy rating and are magnificently appointed with a long list of luxury inclusions within the standard price. Amongst the Riverton and Marsden’s many features are stone benchtops in the kitchen, bathroom, powder room and ensuite, stainless steel European appliances and a designer garage door.

Mr Uden reveals that both designs are eligible for a special bonus promotion adding significantly to the standard inclusions.

“We are currently offering customers free carpets and tiles across all our homes. This fantastic offer is available for a limited time only,” he emphasises.

A wide range of optional extras is available on both designs at an additional cost to personalise your home to suit your needs and tastes. Charity house sale to aid Legacy

Continuing the Dennis family’s ongoing support of Legacy, a third Dennis Family Homes charity house project has commenced at the Manor Lakes estate at Wyndham Vale in Melbourne’s west.

Presently under construction, the new family home will be sold privately as a house and land package when completed, with the profits from the sale of the house to be donated to Legacy.

The first Legacy charity house was also constructed by Dennis Family Homes at the Manor Lakes estate in 2006, followed by a second home at Bendigo one year later. Together these highly successful previous projects raised almost $85,000 in support of Legacy.

Dennis family patriarch, Mr Bert Dennis, announced the latest charity house initiative at the Legacy at Huntingdale Charity Golf Day event on 21 January.

Mr Dennis said that his company was proud to continue its close working association with Legacy, a uniquely Australian organisation established in 1923 dedicated to the welfare of widows and dependants of war veterans.

“Legacy provided wonderful assistance to my own family during my youth and remains close to my heart to this day,” he explained.

“It is our hope that this year’s charity house project will once again generate significant funds to aid Legacy in its ongoing welfare work for the families of deceased veterans,” he added.

Mr Chris Spence, Melbourne Legacy President, welcomed the announcement of the generous donation from Dennis Family Homes.

“We are delighted to receive confirmation of such a magnificent donation,” Mr Spence said.

“It is exciting news and a truly good news story of a former Junior Legatee demonstrating his appreciation for past Legacy support. This most generous initiative of Dennis Family Homes will provide much needed funds to support Legacy’s caring work into the future.”

The house chosen by Dennis Family Homes for the project is the Edgewood 221, a brand new design for 2011 which is featured in its Aspirations series.

Amongst its many features, the double-storey home includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, study and garage. As with all Dennis Family Homes designs, the Edgewood 221 is luxuriously appointed and expertly constructed with quality and excellence.

Mr Dennis said that construction work on the house at Lot 2052 Holloway Street in Wyndham Vale is scheduled for completion in April and the subsequent purchasers will be able to move straight in to their new home on the Manor Lakes estate.

“We feel this charitable initiative is a most positive way to actively demonstrate our ongoing support for Legacy and at the same time it will provide a fabulous new home for a fortunate family in the coming months,” he commented.
