Building Supervisor

Albury Wodonga – Full Time Position

Dennis Family Homes are offering an attractive role for a highly motivated and experienced Building Supervisor or Tradesperson to oversee the construction of our quality homes.

Reporting to the Construction Manager this position is responsible for ensuring that all customers’ homes are built efficiently, within targeted time frames, to budget and to required quality standards through the day to day operation and management of the construction process.

The successful candidate will ideally live in the Albury Wodonga region (although travel will be required); trade qualifications with proven trade skills and/or demonstrable knowledge and experience of building and construction, knowledge of building laws and statutory requirements and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Superior decision making and problem solving skills, the ability to prioritise, organise and to deal effectively with people at all levels in a manner that represents excellent customer service and demonstrates the values of Dennis Family Homes.

Regional Production Manager

Shepparton – Full Time Position

We are now seeking a highly motivated management professional to join our successful team based in Shepparton. This full time position offers significant responsibility and scope to further develop, lead and assist established administration, drafting and estimating teams while assume overall responsibility for the operational support that the production team gives our regional business.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated ability in leading and managing people/teams, a strong background in communication, a natural capacity for personal engagement, and the proven capacity to develop and manage complex internal and external relationships. Setting goals and maintaining standards is a prerequisite.

The passion for quality outcomes, customer service and a strong awareness and priority for OH&S is obligatory. Preferably, applicants will have experience in volume housing residential construction, but this is not essential. Trade and/or tertiary qualifications would be an advantage.

It is anticipated that some traveling in this role will be required.

Notting Hill – Full Time Position

Dennis Family Homes is seeking a highly motivated, computer skilled draftsperson (Archicad preferred but not essential). This role involves the drafting of new homes with customer selected options. The position plays an important role in the delivery of the day to day requirements that enable the fulfilment of our customer’s expectations.

Applicants who have considerable and recent computer drafting experience or have recently completed a formal qualification such as the Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) could be suitable candidates. Demonstrated experience and skills in computer drafting in a volume housing business, will be looked upon favourably.
